Educated as a clinician, Paul has 20+ years’ experience helping employers provide comprehensive benefits programs for their employees and enrolled dependents. After ten years working in cardiac and transplant surgery, Paul redirected his career and entered the group benefits business in 1989 running self-funded employer plans as well as a large coalition of private and public employer plans. Paul has been in the employee benefit and consulting business, primarily large group medical for over 20 years. As a consultant, Paul worked with large employers and associations in advising them on the design, financing and administration of their medical and affiliated benefit plans.

Paul has been recognized as a leading expert in the field of employee benefits plan design. His unique solutions to balancing the interests of employers and employees in employee benefits have helped clients create competitive and cost-effective plans while, at the same time, addressing the health, welfare, and retirement needs of employees and their families.
